Downcast angels who have chosen evil and and not just free will. They are distinguished from the other Downcast by their distinctive facial tattooing. After the Fall a faction of Downcast led by Archangel Uriel demanded Lucifer continue fighting and launch an assault on Heaven. When Lucifer refused to continue the war Uriel and his followers parted with Lucifer and his followers to launch a doomed assault on Heaven. Defeated Uriel has continued to hunt for a way back into Heaven to take what he believes is his, and has fully embraced the Shadow in his soul. The Shade despise humans and take great delight in turning their souls to Darkness. Unlike Lucifer and his Downcast the Shades have never become content with a life on earth.
